The manga tells the story of Yashiro Nene, a first-year high school student who is fascinated by occult stories and longs for a boyfriend. To do this, she tries to summon Hanako-san from the toilet. Although Hanako often behaves childishly and mischievously, his past hides many terrible secrets. So, before becoming a spirit, the boy's name was Yugi Amane.
